The ACTS of a Police and Pastor

It is an unlikely partnership: one is policeman just starting to have a deeper and intimate knowledge about Christ, the other is a pastor who have already accumulated years of Godly wisdom from his relationship with the Lord.

But both have one thing in common: They are passionate about the Lord and they wanted to learn more about His goodness and His word.

It is through this commonality that a small theological equipping school was formed inside Camp Crame.

Ptr. Ruben Alivar and PCINSP Sonny Celedio partnered and formed an equipping school for pastors and policemen who would like to have a deeper understanding of the Word of God. They started with a small group of police and pastors that meets every after office hours of Tuesday at the Civil Security Group conference room of the PNP. The group discusses biblical principles such as the Bible, Salvation, the Divinity of Christ and Faith.

PCINSP Celedio believes that a police would be better guided in his work and his Christian life if he is governed by the principles of the Bible.

Ptr. Ruben Alivar , on the other hand, believes that a minister working with the police should be equipped with the proper doctrine so that he could properly guide those who seeks him and not be distracted by other extra-biblical teachings.

Their endeavor is surely an act of faith that the Lord has prospered.
